Education is evolving worldwide — but not at the same pace everywhere.
At the school in Goudem, Senegal, the children are motivated to learn, grow, and shape their own futures.
However, they currently have no access to computers or the internet.
In a world where digital skills have long become essential, this creates a gap that continues to widen.
Why this matters
Working with computers is no longer a “nice-to-have.”
It is essential:
•It opens access to knowledge beyond school
textbooks
•It builds confidence in navigating the modern
world
•It fosters critical thinking — including safe and
responsible use of the internet
• It creates opportunities for further education and
future careers
Without these opportunities, many children start at a significant disadvantage.
Our Mission
The Carez Foundation aims to make a difference right here.
Our goal is to set up a fully equipped computer lab for the school in Goudem.
Goal: 20 laptops, 1 projection screen, 1 projector
• Internet: already secured through a generous donor
• Timeline: before the start of the new school year in October 2026
The foundation is in place.
