Thanks to many donations, we were able to complete all the planned projects in the village of Goudem surprisingly quickly. The school rooms have floors, the walls of the classrooms have been plastered, the long-missing toilet facilities have been completed.
The mayor of Jilor district, which includes Goudem village, is extremely grateful for the many changes in the school that could be implemented through your generous donations.
We are starting today with another project for school equipment. We are collecting used school bags again for the summer. For all children a total of 150 School bag needed. Even more urgently, the school lacks a Laser printer with copy function - used or new. This way, the teachers can supplement missing textbooks with printouts. The school would also appreciate used laptops and beamers as well as several large world maps for the classrooms. Monetary donations and donations in kind are very welcome.
Transporting the items with a container would cost about EUR 2.000;-
